Bushcon has BPAD accredited consultants who are recognised by the NSW Rural Fire Service to assess the risk of bushfire for all types of development in NSW.
Bushcon Australia was founded by Matt Toghill who through his experience as a licensed builder and firefighter with Fire & Rescue NSW saw the effects a bushfire can have on families and their properties. Matt saw first-hand the importance of incorporating bushfire mitigation measures in new and existing developments. He completed the Graduate Certificate of Bushfire Protection through the University of Western Sydney and became an Accredited Bushfire Planning & Design (BPAD) Practitioner though the Fire Protection Association Australia (FPA Australia).
